It’s been an active month for Sir Paul McCartney. After declaring a new tour for 2019, the rock legend traveled to New York City to keep on the promotion of his hugely expected 17th studio album Egypt Station — surprising lovers with the news of a secret show in the city on Friday.
The Rockstar took to social media on Wednesday to declare the surprise concert for a few lucky New Yorkers on the same day of the album launch date (Sept. 7). Along with the awesome news, he exposed his own customized Egypt Station MetroCards.
The official Paul McCartney MetroCards can be bought on NYC’s Grand Central Station and are sold at larger vending machines and station booths while supplies last. Also associating with Lyft, the code “PAULNYC” can be employed for a chance to score a ticket to Friday’s secret show.
Before the album release and secret show, Paul McCartney will be singing as the musical guest on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show on Thursday.
